Malibu is a mid size sedan that was manufactured by the Chevrolet Cars motor company. ‘Malibu’ this name was earlier used by Chevrolet in 1964 to distinguish the Chevelle vehicle topmost lineup model. Then the Chevelle model was completely replaced by Malibu sedan. 1997 was a new start for the freshly introduced Malibu. This car was an expanded wheel base version of the midsized sedan. This car had a front wheel drive system which was inspired from its previous model. Basically 2002 was the second last year for the Malibu aster which it was moved to General Motor’s “Epsilon” stage.
